Three Years of Eventuelle (and the Birthday I Forgot)

Confession time: Eventuelle turned three earlier this year, and I completely missed it.

Not because it didn’t matter, but because we were busy doing exactly what I started this business to do. Somewhere between site visits, rooming lists, flight deadlines and gala dinners, the date came and went. When I finally noticed, I laughed, and then I sat down and looked back at how far we’ve come.

Where it all started

Eventuelle didn’t begin with a business plan and a launch party. Like a lot of people in events and travel, I was made redundant during Covid. With an industry on pause, I did what felt right at the time and started Nomad Coffee Co. as a coffee van on the side of a canal in Manchester.

Then, in 2023, after having my daughter, I launched Eventuelle. The name means ‘possibilities’ in French, and that’s exactly what it felt like: a chance to build something of my own, around my family, using everything I’d learned from more than 18 years in international events and corporate travel.

Three years on

Looking back over the last three years, a few things stand out:

  • A team, not just me. Natalie joined to lead our group travel, and Eventuelle now works from Worcestershire, Manchester and the Cotswolds.
  • Trips I could only have dreamed of in year one. We’ve flown 600 guests into Rome and handed them straight onto a cruise, hosted gold incentives in Mauritius, Jamaica and Ras Al Khaimah, run conferences in Copenhagen and Marrakech, and taken 60 guests to a château in the South of France for a three-day murder mystery birthday.
  • Clients who come back. Many of our clients have worked with us more than once, and some have brought us with them when they’ve moved to new roles. That means more to me than anything else on this list.
  • A brand that finally looks like us. This year we worked on our brand properly for the first time, and this website is part of that.

What hasn’t changed

For all the growth, the reason Eventuelle exists is the same as it was on day one. We take on the complex, high-stakes parts of travel and events so our clients don’t have to carry them, and we do it with honesty and genuine care. We’re independent, we don’t do hidden fees or long contracts, and we’ll always tell you if something won’t work.

Thank you

To every client who trusted a brand-new business with their event, every supplier who picked up the phone, and everyone who has cheered us on: thank you. Three years in, it still feels like we’re just getting started.

And next year, I promise I’ll remember the date.
